Dohty family Top DJ, Kriss Darlin was recently on social media to celebrate his 35th birthday with a motivational message to self days after losing in the ODM nominations.
Darlin, who was among nine other candidates seeking the party’s ticket for the Kibra by-election, posted on Instagram how he has been blessed with determination and losing the nominations hasn’t broken his heart.

Kris made news last week after kneeling for Raila Odinga and later being fired from The Nation Media Group after joining politics. The deejay has been hosting Jam Rock show that airs on NTV every Saturday.
In an interview on Tuesday 10, Kris stated that losing in politics is not the end of everything and he will resume his entertainment job like nothing happened.
“Life has to go on and I have to do my job as that was what I was before,” he said.
“I am an entertainer and entertainment never stops. Everyone has to go back to work and live as brothers and sisters by sharing a meal and ideas that will make Kibra a good place.
