Celebrated gospel rapper Eko Dydda calls on Kibera voters to vote in the famous football Macdonald Mariga for Kibra Parliamentary seat.
Eko Dydda who has never been seen involving himself in any political activity urged Kibera residents to try electing a youngster who is in the position of supporting and naturing talents.
Taking to his Instagram account, vidole hitmaker showed Mariga with praises saying that he (Mariga) is the perfect successor of the late Ken Okoth since he’s young and talented.
“As a youth I think voting for @mariga77 would be the best thing ju watu Kama hawa hatuwapeagi kura then tunabaki kuzusha oooh gava hai support talents, but we are the ones who vote in people with no zeal about the youth with talents or the potential in young people. Afadhali kujaribu then tuone kazi,” he wrote.
Mariga has received massive support from celebrities, apart from tribe all generation founder, veteran gospel artist Rufftone has been campaigning for him ever since he declared his interest in the Kibera parliamentary seat.
“Salamu from the incoming Kibra mp @mariga77 🙌🙌🙌🙌,”reads one of Rufftone’s social media posts.
However, Namba Nane’s finest is against Mariga’s vying for Kibera’s seat, unlike his colleagues who believe him.
During an interview, Octopizzo accused Mariga of using fame to lure innocent Kibera voters.
“Chenye kina niboo nna hii style iko sai bora niko popular natumia hiyo to my advantage juu mimi ni msani nitaenda kusimama Kibra bila kufanya ground work nani pewe kura,”he lamented.
The Kibra MP seat was left vacant following the sudden death of Ken Okoth and has since attracted a number of candidates from different parties.
