Diamond Platnumz’s father, Abdul Juma, has gone public to ask his son for an invite to his forthcoming wedding. This comes just a few days after the Tanzanian Bongo Flava artist revealed his plans to marry Kenya’s NRG Radio Presenter, Tanasha Donna Barbieri Oketch a.k.a Zahara Zaire on February 14, 2019 (Valentine’s Day).
Even after rumors of Diamond’s rocky relationship with his father struck on social media earlier this year, the Kwangwaru award winner cleared the air and said that there was no bad blood between him and his father. In an interview with Showbiz, Abdul Juma later admitted that he was looking for financial help and that he would really appreciate it if Diamond Platnumz helped him open a mitumba shop in Tanzania.
There has been a lot of buzz surrounding Diamond and Tanasha’s relationship, but the two seem confident that they will make it work. Diamond has publicly made it clear that he is tired of fooling around and that he is ready to build a family with Tanasha.
“Tanasha is the only lady who showed me some seriousness on the (marriage) idea and I now officially announce that I am marrying her.” Diamond said in a public interview
Even with the News of their approaching wedding early next year, Diamond’s father said he is yet to receive an official invite from his son. He called out to the Soundcity MVP Awards nominee to show him his fatherly respect and invite him to the wedding come next year
